- 1.5 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or crushed crackers)
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 can (10oz) cream of mushroom soup (or homemade gravy)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and onion. Form into oval patties.
Sear patties in a skillet until browned. Transfer to baking dish.
In the same skillet, whisk soup, broth, mushrooms, and Worcestershire.
Pour gravy over patties. Cover with foil.
Bake at 375°F for 30 mins covered, then 10 mins uncovered.
