- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 package frozen shredded hash browns (30oz), thawed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain grease. Cook bacon until crispy and chop.
Spread the thawed hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Top the potatoes with the cooked sausage, bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole. (Optional: Cover and refrigerate overnight at this point).
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
